Project Description

Embrace Angels is a forthcoming interactive performance installation that explores empathy between people and robots, public interaction with robots and artificial intelligence, and our bodily perception of technologically mediated touch.

We are conducting a series of workshops exploring the different ways in which configurations of humans and robots can embrace each other, and how the audience witnesses and participates in these moments of human-machine intimacy. The workshops are being conducted onsite at the Cobot Maker Space at the University of Nottingham.
